After 11 amazing years, due to refurbishments at the Robin Park venue, this sadly is to be the last Wigan all dayer event for Salsa Feel The Heat.
Luckily though the team are planning to look at new venues, so although this won’t be in Wigan any longer, we are hopeful the event will be reborn in a town close by.
I have photographed many Salsa events over the last 10 years and each year the people attending the Salsa Feel The Heat events get happier and smilier at every event. It is an absolute joy to photograph them and the artists too.
The event involves a full day of dance classes in Cuban salsa, bachata, Afro-Cuban, Kizomba, reggaeton, son and Cha Cha Cha with the best teachers from Cuba, France, UK and Italy.
Followed by a party involving shows from the artistes, animations and lots and lots of fun!
